          	The body had already been removed and so there’d be no way of telling until he could get the pictures of the crime scene. He consoled himself that he hadn’t wasted his time, that he must see something the investigating detectives had missed: it was Jackson and Dickson after all, a blundering crime-stopping duo who neither stopped nor solved crimes. In a more ordered world, a just world, those two would be flipping burgers at the local chippies. No such luck in this one where those idiots got to handle important cases and mess up the chain of custody.
