oh,  i know,  but it‘s what i signed up for when i started working here a few years ago.   thanks for the concern,  though,  i appreciate it.  [ those days felt like a blur in retrospect;   days bleeding together with only distinct memories jumping out.   if not for the journal she keeps,   she wouldn’t remember most of her day-to-day life. ]   on the bright side,   i completed my fellowship.   you’re now looking at one of gotham newest trauma surgeons.   my hours won’t be as crazy as they were back in residency—thankfully.
