At least that's how it used to be. But thanks to Hiccup and Toothless, dragons are our best friends, and they have saved Berk multiple times.

Astrid here.... when I'm not flying with Stormfly, spending time with Hiccup,  sharpening my ax, or smacking Snoutlot, I'm here reading or writing. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I love my savior and encourage anyone with questions about him or his gospel to ask, I love discussing/ teaching others about him! I like to write fanfiction, hardcore fantasy, and anything else that involves swinging axes. Some of the fandoms I belong to are: How to Train Your Dragon (of course, why wouldn't I write about my home, my favorite place and people), Marvel, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Frozen, and Percy Jackson. I'm also a fan of troll hunters, transformers, and tales of arcadia: 3 below.
