I'm working on a historical story about a trans roman solider, here's the blurb:
It's the year 83 AD, a boy joins the roman army in the hopes to be finally be able to be himself, to use the name he chose, the name that feels right, Lucius.
Not long after his recruitment he gets sent to Mogontiacum at the roman-germanian border for a military campaign beyond the Rhine. One of his new comrades is a fellow legionray with germanic heritage called Baldwin, they bond as they face their enemy a germanic tribe called the Chatti.
