Ok, still learning the platform. This is the first four chapters (originally the first chapter).
Ok, so I finally started posting. My goal had been to start in December, and I just squeaked it in by the skin of my teeth!
So, I am now working on getting my first draft of The Prentice ready for public consumption!
I have been working on this for longer than I care to say (mostly because I can't recall exactly when I started it), but suffice to say it is not the youngest baby in my household.
It is an epic-style fantasy and will ultimately be spread over several books (3? 4? Yet to be determined). My original draft has 25 chapters with epilogue, but I am splitting those chapters to make it easier for mobile consumption. I will be posting in chunks that follow my original chapter formatting, though, so expect 3-5 chapters dropped at a time.
Since I work full time, I can't commit to a particular schedule. I can commit, though, to answering any questions you have about the characters since this first book is 95% completed in a pre-draft form (think written like a play with dialogue and notes on scene and feelings but not true chapter-style prose).
