          My entry reflects over the Dred Scott decision which was where an enslaved person by the name of Dred Scott tried to sue for his freedom because he was kept by his slaveholder in a state that was banned of slavery. The Chief Justice at that time, Robert Tanney, had declared that Scott had no right of trying to sue for his freedom because he was a slave and was therefore not a citizen. Only property rights could protect slaves and nothing else. Due to this statement the Missouri Compromise, which was a compromise that allowed Congress to outlaw slavery in some territories, was deemed unconstitutional reopening every territory in the USA to slavery. 
          
          I still have yet to look at the newly released round 7 lol! @action

          Once again I wasn't able to get my grammar beta. We had everything set up, but some private things came up in my life causing me not to have time. My response to this is just the fact that stuff happens we need to deal with it even if it means making sacrifices.
