Hi Vanessa!! Hope you’re doing well :D I noticed your comment on a book & your reading list and have concluded that you’re most likely a fellow Christian? I hope I’m not overstepping any boundaries, but I just wanted to share that I’ve recently started a new book called “For I Will Still Praise Him”, it follows a university student who struggles with depression & how she navigates her relationships with both God and her community! It’d be amazing if you could maybe give it a look? I’d appreciate any feedback you have <3 plz also lmk if you have any prayer/praise items (if you’re comfortable) - I’d love to support a fellow sister in Christ through prayer!
@BlackBeanandChestnut, sorry for replying so late. It was nighttime where I am when you replied, and I've literally just got back from school. Thank you for keeping me in your prayers! Like you said, it is so easy to idolise grades in school and spend less time with God, especially when you know you need to do well in school. But managing my time is something I need to work on. I do have some praise and prayer items. I am thankful for God's mercy and how He always forgives me. I am also thankful for the fact that He never leaves us no matter what we do. I feel like I need prayers in strengthening my relationship with God and procrastination. I literally put off work so much, and I really need to stop doing that. Anyways, thank you so much for all that you've said. Is there anything you would like me to pray for (if you feel comfortable sharing). :)
@Vaaaneassa aww thank you so much for your kind words love, I’ll def keep your studies in my prayers and am certain that you’re capable of glorifying God in all that you do! Even through the boring stuff like choosing who you eat lunch with or just writing an essay haha… I know what you mean tho, I found it really hard before to put God as my first priority when school had such a big pressure on me, and it was sadly very easy for me to idolize my grades :( By praise items I mean anything you’re thankful for so that we can praise God for it! And prayer items are anything I can help you pray for :)
