Hey, hi, hello! A while back, I submitted a short story for the Shiver Anthology held by Save Danmei Authors, and to my surprise, it got selected!!! The anthology will be available for purchase on June 7th! It’s a charity anthology to help a disabled queer author who got caught up in the crackdown on LGBTQ+ authors in China in 2024. If you have a bit of money to spare, I highly recommend checking it out. 
          
          Y’know, I have the memory of a golden fish for names, so when I reread the story to pick up a snippet, I went: oh, right, Nathaniel is the MC’s name. Oops, I forgot. Thank God the ML doesn’t have a name. He’s the thing, and that’s it *cough cough*

          The first thing Nyell did when he met his destined mate was try to punch him in the face. Why did it have to be the chief of that darned tribe? He hated his guts before meeting him, and he still hated his guts after meeting him.
          
          But as destiny would have it, this man asked for him in exchange for helping solve the disappearances plaguing Nyell’s village. As the chief’s son, Nyell took his duty of protecting his people to heart, and though it pissed him off, he agreed to become his.
          
          Now, it was only a matter of time before ending the serial disappearances and another before falling in love. Or not.

Can I throw my computer out the window? Like, the help center didn't think of telling me the number of chapters is capped at 200, and I've been trying to make the good darn thing work for a week with their recommendation... It's not a website problem! It's the darn limit! It finally told me when I tried to add the next chapter on my phone.... Anyway, I'll be separating the volumes on SD this weekend and posting everything back. Fun time ahead...

The third volume of Sweet Devil is officially finished!!! I'll write a few extras for the next few weeks while I plan the fourth and last volume. If there's something you want to see in the extras, please let me know! I'll take it into considration. What I have planned for now:

Yesterday, February 28th, I watched the meeting between America’s leaders and President Zelensky, and I was floored. Trump and Vance’s behavior was so despicable and sickening that my stomach literally churned. I was so out of it that I couldn’t function, so I went into robot mode for the rest of the day. The reporters present in that room weren’t any better. How can you dare ask a man why he isn’t wearing a suit when he is wearing black clothes in support of his people who are fighting for their freedom? How can you laugh when, in his nation, the women are being raped, the children kidnapped, and the men slaughtered? It’s beyond disgraceful and shameful: it’s revolting. I cannot comprehend how these men can go to sleep after what they’ve said and done, nor can I ever understand whoever supports this kind of atrocious behavior. This meeting was not diplomacy: it was men trying to inflate their egos by bringing down and making a hero beg for help with an unjust deal on balance.
          
          President Zelensky deserves respect, not ridicule. Did you know? America made Ukraine get rid of its nuclear weapons in 1994 in exchange for its protection. And what has its current administration done? Belittle and betray Ukraine. Who will ever believe and trust America now? No one who’s sane. But I guess people are quick to forget. Yet, yesterday’s actions by Trump and his minions should never be forgotten and never forgiven. 
          
           I’ve never been more fearful of my southern neighbor than I am now. If Americans don’t stand up to the tyranny happening within their own borders, who knows who’s going to be their madman leader’s next victim? I would rather not know. 
          
          All my wishes and prayers go to Ukraine and President Zelensky.
