@ValciaPhoenixTitan if you plan to take it down, for one reason or another,  I'd say to use what you liked about the original and implement it into your new book. That or put the other one in archive until you have a passion for it again. It's sometimes helpful to take a break from writing something if it gets to the point of pressured resentment (meaning, brought on by diligent effort that isn't being rewarded). 

@ValciaPhoenixTitan has nothing to do with the art itself, but how memorable it is. You want your cover to represent elements your story is advertising, to some extent, same with the title. It's all first impressions. I had someone do it for me for all of my covers, and in return I read their books.  They spend countless more hours making covers. Don't beat yourself up if that's part of what's causing the lack of viewership. You don't spend as much time on it to be comparable.

            I guess my hand drawn cover doesn't look that good... I try to come up with good titles using ChatGPT but it takes forever to get a right cover so that's why I draw mine 

@ValciaPhoenixTitan you see how your most viewed book has the most flashy cover? That's part of the appeal to. 

@ValciaPhoenixTitan which makes sense. Now you have a negative association with it (the recent experiences with your brother). This is something that can be treated with therapy, time, or by building more positive associations (like positive encouragement or collaborations with supportive friends). Of course, none of this should feel like a requirement, but done because you want to, or it becomes yet another negative association (meeting an expectation rather than personal pleasure).

@ValciaPhoenixTitan I would need more context to give an opinion. I never personally read the Percy Jackson series. While my own book has vague influence of divine intervention, I have no frame of reference for stories centered around gods themselves.
