YEAR 30 — The Wandering Knight
Gotham remains under the automated system he built — but softer now, less rigid, more humane. Oracle, Nightwing, and Tim serve as checks and moderations.
Bruce himself is gone — traveling the world, seeking:
• A cure
• Redemption
• Or acceptance
of what he has become.
Some say he hunts Lazarus Pits to destroy them.
Others say he seeks ancient monks who can stabilize the corruption.
But one rumor persists:
“Batman is trying to remember how to be Bruce Wayne again.”
And that means hope remains.
YEAR 25 — The Justice League Standoff
The League intervenes — not to stop him, but to save him.
Bruce wins tactically — but afterward, he hesitates.
Seeing Diana bruise and Clark kneel does something to him.
For the first time in years, the corruption falters.
Batman is silent as rain begins to fall.
Superman simply says:
“Bruce… this isn’t you.”
A long, trembling pause.
Bruce whispers:
“…I know.”
And then —
he leaves.
Not victorious.
Not defeated.
Lost.
YEAR 20 — The Eternal Gotham Blueprint
Bruce creates a hidden manifesto — not to rule, but to preserve Gotham beyond human fallibility.
A key line stands out:
“If I lose myself, do not let my work die with me.”
This isn’t tyranny —
it’s terrified legacy planning.
