Hi Ness, yes I'm following you! Don't know why, maybe to see if Canadians can write as well as Kiwis.
          Oliver in Year 6....Yikes!!
          Do you think iPads are just big iPods? Interesting, because I used to think that too. Until I bought one, its quite useful if you can't be bothered turning your computer on.
          Homework? Not much...yet? My 2 sisters went to Stella and they got heaps. But that was back in the 1980s. I guess  they don't want to scare you 21st century students with anything like hard work. Ha!
          Oliver in Year 6?? I suppose it would be an honour. But for me or for him? I would be honored to teach anyone from your family I suppose. You know how much I like Canadians :)
          If you don't want me to follow you just let me know, I'll wait until you wrote a story or two. I thought I would bet on 2 of my ex students becoming famous so they can dedicate their first novels to their Year 6 teacher and shower him with riches. Who will be more famous, you or Graceo??
          Anyway thanks for replying and enjoy your year and life. Hopefully we will catch up soon at the premiere of Oliver's Film Fest if he ever submits anything.

          School's all right so far actually, haven't gotten much homework... Yet.
          Good luck! Ollie has told me that next he'd like to have you as his year 6 teacher! What an honour it would be! 
          Yes, they do indeed have IPads In CANADA. People at my school are allowed to use IPads instead of laptops!
          I think they're rather impractical, they're just giant IPods.

          Yes sleeping in is great isn't it, but oh we'll we all have to begin a new year.
          I'm teaching a 3/4 composite class this year and I have moved to Mr Carroll's old (crappy) demountable.
          But we have a class iPad! Do they have those over in Canadia? They are black portable computer things. I'm actually using one now.
          I hope you have a great year and I'm looking forward to reading one of your stories. Please say hi to Graceo if you see her.

          I was reading some of Graceo's brilliant stories, she gave me some typed copies at the end of last year and the link to her page thingo on this site. She is very clever.
