@ Vanitas5555 yeah, I know what you mean. I don't really have a recipe... I think it's not really helpful but my ideas come when I'm not actively thinking about it. Showering, exercising, when I'm relaxed. When I'm stressed, either about work or writing, nothing comes up :( you can thunk about what you look for in a story and mirror that to what you want to write! That helps me sometimes. And yes! Start small and find out what is your style ;) good luck! Enjoy the process

@ Vanitas5555 I recommend that you know where you will get, meaning, know your ending to make the story consistent. Know the few big plot twists of how to get there, and then just start filling in the details and have fun with it! :)

@ Vanitas5555 hello there :) yes, you can always ask!! I usually plan the overall plot and create the details as I go... once I tried planning chapter by chapter but I always ended up changing it hahaha. But maybe turns out you're more organized than me and it works haha. I get super anxious writing long stories, that's why I really like the one shots. I really recommend starting small and increasing later ;)

@starnit I’m not that organized either… One shots sound like a good idea — maybe I should try that too! And sometimes I just have no idea how to continue.... May I ask how you usually get your ideas for your stories? How do you get your ideas? Because even when I know what I want to write about, my ideas suddenly stop... Do you know what I mean?
