Police brutality has spanned far past that year; our modern policing system in the South especially is based on the SLAVE PATROL. RACISM IS ENTRENCHED IN THE SYSTEM. so if any of you think that we are living in some fucking post-racial society you are either stupid or purposefully ignorant. I don't want to hear shit about all lives matter or blue lives matter. Those were terms used against BLM and to degrade its importance and to try and silence it. Also DO NOT attack the way that the protesters are protesting; if you are more mad at a fucking building being burned down than the murders of innocents then you need some serious reevaluation. THESE STORES WILL RECOVER I PROMISE. most of the stores that the protesters are looting are multi-billion dollar corporations; they will not be hurt, they will survive. you know who can't say that? george floyd. breonna taylor. aiyanna jones. jonathan ferrel. tony mcdade. the few examples of countless who have been MURDERED by people sworn to protect them. and now you have cops with the same mentality gassing and attacking peaceful protesters. i have already signed the petitions to bring justice for them. you should too.
