I've been given a little space to write about myself. Well, my name is Laylia (LAY-lee-uh) and I'm a young writer. I joined wattpad 1/26/2017 and I'm very happy to have found a place that I can write whatever I like and people can read it. I've never written for people before so this is very new and exciting. The only person I've ever allowed to read my work is a trusted friend of mine. She seems to like it and suggested I share my writing so that other people may enjoy it. For anyone who was wondering, I'm very involved in LGBTQ community and I have been since I was a child. I've ridden several times in Pride Parade and have been to every parade since I was conceived. I sing and if you'd like then you can look me up on YouTube under the name of "Laylia Doran". I am also very involved in the Northwoods Unitarian Universalist Church in the woodlands. I bellydance, play piano, I do Archery, Perform as a local singer, garden, take care of my single mother and half-brother, I do martial arts (ATA), I have been in musical theater, I write, I ride, and I'm really pretty focused on school right now. I suppose I could write out a short summary of my whole life story but I'll spare you and just give you some highlights. My father was murdered by a crackhead when I was seven after my parents were already divorced. My brother and sisters who lived with him were taken by CPS because his wife, (my stepmother), was half insane and abusive. They were adopted by a family out in Huntsville a short time later and I haven't seen them in years. I take care of my single mother who works her ass of to make sure that my younger half-brother and I are healthy and happy. She's battled with being an alcoholic since we left the abusive father of my  stepbrother about three years ago. I myself have been in a few unhealthy relationships before realizing that I don't need to be in one and I'm perfectly fine on my own. My life has had a few ups and downs but my family and I are doing really well.
