So for the first time ever a story of mine hit one thousand reads and I'm thrilled! Fighting For Love was my first ever non-short-story effort as a writer in Portuguese and its translation was my first ever writing effort in English, so it means the world to me to have it recognised by so many. Thank you to everybody who read, shared, voted, and commented, y'all made this possible. Thank you! And don't forget to check out my other stories, too, they were all written with the same amount of love and research that FFL was. xoxo stay safe.

Hi . I want to write books on wattpad for a long time, and I want advice
I just wanna have fun time writing the story instead so I have found the story and everything but I can seem to get it into words. Is writing stories something you have to be born with?

@whatthefroottoast first of all, thank you for the love and appreciation. Second, no, absolutely not.

I had very little interest in writing and reading when I was little (in fact I was much more of a drawing kid) and I only began writing when I was 14/15. My first story was really short and had chapters that were only 400-words-long. I didn't know how to do character development and I didn't improve at all the world they were living in. But, as time went by, I started reading other stories, talking to other writers and they told me about their own writing process and their experiences and I realized that I had it all in me, I just needed to be patient and let it come. Don't EVER rush your writing, else you're just not getting it. Take Noble Cause (one of my stories) for instance, I started writing it in 2019 and finished it this May (2022), because I'd get the idea of some episodes, I'd write them, then I'd just get nothing for months, but it'd eventually come to me. So no, it's not something you're born with, it's something that definitely needs polishing.
