Update: 
          	
          	*cracks knuckles* Hello, all! As you can see, my account may look a little bit... new. Much different than the last time. Why is that?

          	Wattpad closed my main account of 8 years out of the blue for no reason. 
          	
          	To keep things brief: I have no idea what happened, and it has been a frustrating 48 hours. I could waste your time and go through why, obviously, I broke no TOS, and the Wattpad support system is so old and broken that it's gonna be a hassle (if possible) trying to restore the account, but I'll pivot to the future instead: 
          	
          	**I am not going anywhere**. I don't care so much about losing all of my views, followers, history, etc. It stings, but whatever. My goal is and always will be to create a fun story that I can be proud of, and that drive hasn't faded despite how terrible this app is. 
          	
          	**What To Expect Going Forward**
          	
          	Tomorrow/this week, I am going to work on reuploading the original Between Two Worlds back onto my profile. Shouldn't take too long, and I'll leave it up for the curious people who want to re-explore the old book, just like before. 
          	
          	IN THE EVENT THIS ACCOUNT GETS BANNED: Despite doing nothing wrong, Wattpad's support system is notorious for being abused, and there is a real chance that some user is simply out to target me. The reality is, humans don't play a part in most of the support processes on this app, and there isn't much I can do against abusive behavior. 
          	
          	In response, I'll use this account as a pivot to other story and social platforms, such as AO3 and Discord (I will drop a link tomorrow, for those of you interested). I'll also create several "burner" accounts on Wattpad to make for a smoother transition if this one, my new main, winds up banned. While this is normally against TOS, since I haven't done anything wrong to warrant a ban in the first place, I feel no rules being broken. 
          	
          	I will keep coming back to ensure that Between Two Worlds stays free, easy, and accessible on this app... (1/2)

Even if it means tearing through account after account and constantly reuploading the book, give it a day or two, and I'll bring everything back here. 
          	  
          	  Fingers crossed that Wattpad realizes their mistake and provides justice, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I'll be treating this space as a way to funnel people to my AO3 page (much better writing platform, ngl) and merging fans of Between Two Worlds into other spaces, like Discord, so I can connect with all of you better.
