I just published the introduction of my new book. Hope you like it. I will post the first chapter soon and each figure will be in chronological order.

Just thought I'd drop a note to express my thanks for all the votes for all the stories of mine that you've read and or added to your reading lists. I hope you enjoyed reading them so far. -nick

@Nicholasscott Honestly, that is some of the most relevant advice about writing that I've heard Thank you.

@Veiled_Stars....hmmmm, tips.....
             first thing; write. I know that sounds like a silly tip, but you should write every day or as often as possible. I write practically every morning before I have to go to work (unless I have to work dreadfully early then I don't) but 5 or 6 days out of the week, I'm writing (or trying to write.)
            second thing. Write what you know. And I don't mean, don't write fantasy(I saw on your profile that you enjoy fantasy) but rather don't try and write about something that you know nothing about. Fortunately the computer and internet have made research etc etc etc so much more accessible)
            Third: I always read what I've written out loud. As the author we know what we are trying to say and have a tendency to read it with that in out heads, but outloud you can hear if it doesn't sound right, if it doesn't flow, if you've left something out.
            there's all kinds of advice websites, books etc on writing that are really helpful. And if you have the chance to take a creative writing class ( i took several) I would high reccommend it. Threy really help hone your craft.
