I am now on Ao3 under "Danganraptor."
          
          Fare thee well, Wattpad.

I'll probably be deleting Wattpad and migrating to another site.
          
          The reasons:
          1: Wattpad, when I joined, had a better atmosphere and was far less pushy about monetization.
          2: When I joined, it was specifically for writing. I still enjoy it, but at the time, I got sucked into the RP scene that was thriving then. I met some fantastic people, mind, but it was not what I was there for. I got "addicted" to it, and it was fun imagining all sorts of scenarios. It was like... Budget DnD. The problem wasn't it existing, or me enjoying it. It was that it sucked up the time I had originally devoted to writing.
          3: I've largely disengaged with Wattpad already, aside from trying to stay in contact with a good friend I made on here, but my connection to Wattpad is tenuous at best. It was a different site for a different me, and now we're as strangers to each other. Or, more bluntly, Wattpad as it is now is almost like a gacha game where it advertises the spicier stuff without regards to substance, drawing one in with the risqué and leaving one disappointed.
          4: The site exoerienced a massive breach in 2020. That KINDA has me worried.
          
          For what years I was on here, it has been a wild ride, and I'm a better writer for it. But that was about a decade ago. It's time to move on. You are all wonderful people, and I'm happy to have met you. Maybe we'll meet again in the hellscape of the internet, or in a cafe in real life.

This is the new profile used EXCLUSIVELY for writing, though we can still talk there if desired. Just understand it will be my main profile for the time being.
