I am now on Ao3 under "Danganraptor."
          
          Fare thee well, Wattpad.

I'll probably be deleting Wattpad and migrating to another site.
          
          The reasons:
          1: Wattpad, when I joined, had a better atmosphere and was far less pushy about monetization.
          2: When I joined, it was specifically for writing. I still enjoy it, but at the time, I got sucked into the RP scene that was thriving then. I met some fantastic people, mind, but it was not what I was there for. I got "addicted" to it, and it was fun imagining all sorts of scenarios. It was like... Budget DnD. The problem wasn't it existing, or me enjoying it. It was that it sucked up the time I had originally devoted to writing.
          3: I've largely disengaged with Wattpad already, aside from trying to stay in contact with a good friend I made on here, but my connection to Wattpad is tenuous at best. It was a different site for a different me, and now we're as strangers to each other. Or, more bluntly, Wattpad as it is now is almost like a gacha game where it advertises the spicier stuff without regards to substance, drawing one in with the risqué and leaving one disappointed.
          4: The site exoerienced a massive breach in 2020. That KINDA has me worried.
          
          For what years I was on here, it has been a wild ride, and I'm a better writer for it. But that was about a decade ago. It's time to move on. You are all wonderful people, and I'm happy to have met you. Maybe we'll meet again in the hellscape of the internet, or in a cafe in real life.

Have some story stuff I'll be posting on my second account in order to get back into the swing of things, so to speak.

This is the new profile used EXCLUSIVELY for writing, though we can still talk there if desired. Just understand it will be my main profile for the time being.

I'm considering making a new account.
          
          When I was first introduced to Wattpad, I had hoped to use it as a place to put my stories (i find that to be a better word than fanfiction, even though that's literally what most of it is), maybe read some made by others. That way, I could put in some practice while staying within my "comfort zone."
          
          Then, I got caught up in the magical world of RP.
          
          I had fun. My first was Alien vs Predator by RosarioPetals (I apologize if I got that wrong- it's late and I'm tired), and the addiction (at that point, it honestly was) was only made worse in the Game of Thrones RP by SaltyStark (as they were known at that time, and they're probably one of my best friends on the site, given how much we talked. Hope you're doing alright, man.) I met so many wonderful people, and it helped me come out of my shell a bit.
          
          But as fun as that was, it wasn't what I was here to do. Not only that, but every time I revisit this app on this profile, I feel the urge to get back into it, although I don't have time for it because of the current circumstances of my life. Not to mention how notoriously BUGGY Wattpad is. Every update is two steps forward, three steps back.
          
          As such, I'm considering making a new profile as a place to write my stories and share them, away from my old profile (which I will be revisiting and maintaining.) All of the stories already made here will remain- I loved writing about the Space Wolves and Blood Angels from 40k, but I just don't have the interest anymore. In addition, I will try to re-follow you all after my new profile is set up. Do keep in mind that, if it happens, it will NOT be for RPs (although we can still converse there.) Not only that, but if any of you are active on any other writing site, I'd appreciate an introduction- I'd love to get my writing out there and meet more people to help guide me on my journey to become a writer.
