Dinesh Verma is the author of 'The Fine Print and other Yarns', a collection of stories set in Paris, which was published in 2009 by UBS Publishers and Distributors, New Delhi. The collection is now available in e-book format at Amazon.Com and Smashwords.Com. His second collection of stories, 'A Whiff of Rotten Tomatoes and Other Tales' was published in 2020. It is a collection of somewhat unconventional stories set in contemporary India which deal with unusual situations in the lives of characters who are themselves far from common.

He has finished writing his first novel 'The Parisian Interlude' which is likely to be published shortly.

Dinesh has also translated ten stories of celebrated Indian writer Munshi Premchand from Hindi to English and French, which have been published under the titles, 'The Divine Arbiter and Other Stories,' and 'L'Arbitre Divin et Autres Contes' respectively on Amazon.

Dinesh Verma studied English Literature in the University of Delhi before joining the Indian Revenue Service. He is an alumnus of Hindu College, Delhi and also of Institut International d'Administrations Publique and the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Paris. He has also attended courses at Syracuse University, New York and at Harvard Business School. Presently he is based at Delhi.
