@Verminoh Also, csm hasn't ended yet but it is really really diabolical and you would be able to kill off characters left and right and have plenty of opportunities to make it seem justified, plus you can write some of the wildest things and it would fit in for a csm story, idk if you want spoilers so I wont say names, but one chapter literally has a character uh, tug another characters rope, if you know what I mean

@Verminoh I didnt mind the ending, its just I think some of the kagune he used during it seemed like, idk, the complete opposite of every over kagune in the story, the way they made the ending in the anime had me a bit iffy but I cant say I hated it

@FreeFreeThree Thank you so much for saying all that! I still wonder if I could write better than how I already am, but reading words like yours really gives me confidence. I do love Tokyo Ghoul, but I'm just not sure what I could add to an already great story. I'm actually one of the few people who liked the ending! Speaking of endings... I've never read Chainsaw Man, but I've heard that it ended diabolically lol.

@Cripzzu I would imagine it would be a different book because on the cover for this one it says "The singularity" then "1" insinuating another book to come

@marsipapo Hey there! I can’t believe anyone else noticed except me. And yes I was really surprised to see this when I uploaded chapter 99. I already planned to make the next chapter pretty long and impactful, so it worked out! Thank you if you have been reading my story from the start! :)

@Verminoh I completely understand. I’ve tried writing Tokyo Ghoul books before, but I was never really able to pull it off. You sort of helped me understand why that is too, so thanks. Also, it’s good to know you’re rewriting some. Gives me something a little new to read instead of rereading the same stuff.

@BetchuWontDoShi Funny enough, the only three anime I’ve ever watched fully are AOT, Tokyo Ghoul, and JJK. And I used to be obsessed with Tokyo Ghoul. Kaneki Ken is still my favorite main character of all time. I owned the entire manga and I will even argue that the ending was actually good. I really wish more creative works leaned into philosophy the way Tokyo Ghoul did. That’s part of what made it special to me.
            
            As for writing a story on it… I’m not sure. I think one reason my JJK fic was easier to approach is because JJK doesn’t revolve around one deeply centered protagonist in the same way. Tokyo Ghoul is very much Kaneki’s story, and honestly, it already feels kind of perfect as it is.
            
            And about rereading, I’m so happy because I’ve been rewriting some of the early chapters recently! Hope you enjoy and thank you for sharing all this.

Also, I removed your book from my library when I finished it so my library could be more organized, so I completely missed out on the new updates. Its also been too long to remember most of what happened, so looks like I have some rereading to do
