BACKSTORY -
To be honest, she doesn’t remember what exactly happened. One moment she was with her grandmother, the next they were taking cover from the gunshots. Those stupid, stupid gunshots. The girl was sobbing her heart out. Her grandmother had been shot and was bleeding out in front of her. Knowing her life was coming to an end, she took off her necklace and gave it to the girl.
“Run.”
Shawna hesitated but after looking at her grandma one last time, she gave her a tight hug and ran away as fast as she could. She was young at the time so she had no idea where she was going.
Eventually she found the gloomy-looking group. She took a liking to them quickly and tried to lighten them up a bit. It was the least she could do, really. These poor kids might have been in worse situations than her. So she made it her goal to keep them smiling.
Plus, her grandmother loved to laugh. And to Shawna, it kept her memory alive. She has yet to take the necklace off.
STRENGTHS -
She easily adapts to her surroundings. No matter where she is, she can get comfortable in a matter of seconds.
She is strangely good at sneaking around. Her feet don't make noise as she takes light steps. Some may be curious, but her answer will always be, “It’s just something I picked up over the years.”
WEAKNESSES -
Shawna is really gullible. You could tell her that her mother asked to pick her up, and she wouldn’t even question you. This might lead to her trusting people who aren’t trustworthy.
Really stubborn. Once her mind is set on something, don’t expect her to change it anytime soon. It’s definitely possible, but good luck trying.
