Unseen Tears, Unspoken Words

          	It's late, love feels unreal,
          	Late, and I'm crying—
          	Bleeding,
          	On my knees.

          	Time has stopped,
          	My mind is on you.
The little things you say mean too much,
Your breath against my skin—a burden.

          	Tears of shame glow,
          	Of sorrow,
          	Seem unreal, unseen, unforgiven—
          	Only regret.

It's the little stabs in the back
          	That do the damage,
          	The nerves broken and cut,
Unable to stand, to walk again.

As my feet go numb and my eyes close,
          	Nightmares pull me back again,
          	To a place unseen, unread.

          	A simple note,
A simple bunch of words that rhyme.
Such a waste, many would say,
          	As unseen tears fall effortlessly,
And blood drips from their necks
Where they wish it would end.

Even though the pain is unseen,
          	Never judge a poem
          	By its title
Or the unread words you haven't seen.

@StormyQuill That's good, life is going just the normal storms that come by once in a while but other than that I'm great, how's life for you?
