Okay, so it's been a while since I've posted much, but when I did, it was not centered on BTS, and there's a specific reason for that.
I've been feeling more distant from listening to their music ever since the pandemic era when "Dynamite" has been posted. I remembered my mixed reaction to the song and how I genuinely did not like it as much as the other bangers they had put out.
As of now, since the controversy of Taehyung being Coca-Cola's ambassador and selling more Coke, along with other members continuing to partner with McDonald's and going to Starbucks and the like...
I've decided to take a hard stance on this, but I will not longer be posting about them or anything.
My old works will still be up for followers that want to access it. Still, I just want to say I'm gravely disappointed in their choices and I can no longer continue to support them as I find it distasteful that for such stars as they are, they condone buying products that relate to the suffering of others, especially in Palestine where there's an ongoing genocide.
A photo circulated on how Taehyung's photocards out of the rubble appeared and someone close to them posted it saying that person is no longer there and that those photocards are the only ones remaining.
I cannot imagine how that soul would feel if they saw Taehyung acting a muck like this. If you want to argue, argue with a wall, because I will not be listening. This is something I cannot compromise on.
Those who empathize can understand my position. So just know that going forth this is my stance on that issue in general for celebrities, politicians, public figures alike... who act a muck to all of us while there's an ongoing genocide or other human rights violations my morals and integrity come before all.
Humanity before all.
Humanity > Entertainment/Consumerism/Comfort any given day.
