Happy Friday!

By now, you’ve probably finished Born Rich, and I hope Tae and Imani’s ending gave exactly what it was supposed to. And if you’ve started Lessons in the Cut, you’re probably beginning to feel the spark between Koki and Bianca—because their next few chapters are about to be the start of a whole LOT of things.

Next week, I’ll be adding another story to the rotation—one that’s been sitting in my drafts for a long time. Digital Chemistry is short, fast-paced, and flirty, with just the right amount of messy.

Thank you, as always, for showing up, reading, and supporting my stories the way you do. I appreciate you more than you know.

@petalandsnowink thank you friend! I had this one in the drafts, and although it's shorter than my norm, it was worth putting it out there. Between work and everything else, it's hard (which I know you can relate)...so I try my best to write every few days to keep the creativity flowing. :-)

@VibesWithLex Looking forward to the new book. It's already waiting on my list. I'm hoping to get more time to read soon. You're so prolific. I wish I could write as quickly as you do.

Happy Monday!

          Hope you’re all staying warm…

I just dropped two new chapters of Lessons in the Cut—Koki and Bianca are going to be a whole vibe, I promise.

I am going to try and wrap Born Rich up this week. Tae and Imani’s ending is definitely going to put you in your feels.

I hope you enjoy, and I appreciate each of you more than you know.

Hi, sorry if this is a bit all over the place, but I’ve been wondering how you do this.

I have multiple unfinished drafts living rent-free in my head, and every time I try to write one down, my brain immediately wants to change the plot, the setting, or everything at once. Writing starts feeling more like rearranging furniture than actually telling the story.

You seem to work on several books at the same time without losing momentum or rewriting yourself into a corner. How do you manage that? Do you separate projects in a specific way, or do you just let things stay messy until later?

Basically: how do you keep stories moving forward when your ideas won’t sit still?

VibesWithLex

No, it’s not all over the place. I get it for real. We are on the same bus . But for me, it usually starts with an idea and a few key moments I know have to happen in the story. After that, I take my time figuring out the plot and making sure the characters actually have chemistry. I’ll sit with a story for weeks before I write—Lessons in the Cut was definitely like that. It took me a WHILE to get it nailed down. I also force myself to write a synopsis before I even start writing anything. That makes me stay committed to the plot…because if I don’t, it’s a mess. Once I get Chapter One down though, I visualize what should happen next based on what I said in the synopsis and let the story unfold naturally. I write like I’m watching a series play out in my head… which might be a little chaotic, but it works for me . When it comes to multiple stories, I actually try to get to a point in one story where I know the plot is set and it’s strong before I start on another one. That way when I do go back to finish the other story, it already has structure so I’m not tempted to change the plot. Hope that answered your question.

Happy Friday!

Born Rich has officially reached 10K reads—I appreciate everyone who has been riding with Tae and Imani. Their final chapters will not be for the weak *side eye*…so if you haven’t caught up yet, now is the time.

And… the ā€˜soft launch’ of my new story, Lessons in the Cut, is here.

I’m so excited to invite you into Bianca and Koki’s world. I’ve been sitting with their story for a while because I wanted to get it just right. Their journey is authentic, emotional, and raw. I dropped the intro chapter to set the tone, and Chapters 1 and 2 will be dropping next week. I’d love for you to check it out and add it to your reading list.

Thank you for reading, commenting, and supporting my stories the way you do. It truly means more than you know.

Happy Saturday!

Two new chapters of Born Rich dropped yesterday… and let me just say, the chapters coming up? Whew. Do not miss them...

Also—another edition of After Hours is coming next week. All of the short stories are written; I’m just deciding which ones will go into Volume 2 and which I’ll save for the final Volume 3. These couples will be fire...just warning you now.

And lastly… something I’ve been quietly working on for weeks—
the story coming after Born Rich? It’s tea, and I’m really excited about this one.
Think two people with a lot of baggage, healing they weren’t looking for, and chemistry that feels inevitable.

And the male lead? He. Is. Top. Tier.

Look out for the teaser chapter around Ch. 36/37 of Born Rich.

Since I’m in editing mode right now, I’d love to read more of your stories—or any favorites you’d recommend. I’m a (very) late-night reader, so feel free to drop them below I appreciate you more than you know.

VibesWithLex

Hope you’re all enjoying Born Rich!

The next few chapters dropping next week are about to flip the script — so now’s the time to catch up.

I’ve also been hard at work on something new. It’s a little different, but I think you’re going to love where it’s headed.

And when I’m not writing, I love taking reading breaks — so please send your story recs my way.

VibesWithLex

Two new chapters of Born Rich are up! If you haven’t met Taeyong yet… you’re missing out. The drama is officially loading.

And FYI — I’m already playing with concepts for my next project. Think rainy nights, urban romance meets J-Drama, slow-burn chaos, and your bestie spilling the tea about her favorite cousin. This one’s gonna have layers on layers. Stay tuned ✨

VibesWithLex

I totally understand… I have so many I’m reading…editing my current release and then writing another to stay ahead . Thank you always for your support.
