Hello! So, good news, Siren's Silence will soon have a new chapter out. Woo! First time I've written in... Dang... Too long. Anyway, I did want to give the heads up that the format of SS will be changing. I figured third person semi-omnipotent will be better for getting the whole story and it fits better with a little bit of extra canon that will be appearing with my Gildaran Chronicles series. Plus, it'll enable me to get rid of the horribly cringe-worthy part of the prologue where I gave Siren's physical description. If that's printed out anywhere... It should be burned. Ah, but one must learn somehow, eh?

I will be asking my beloved's (he excels at making characters) advice on Risk and SS, so those should be getting a LOT more depth soon, and after I complete those, I'll finally begin working on my list of other stories.

I'm still balancing work, school, and trying to organize the art business, as well as enjoy some time with my boyfriend of about 1.5 years now, so updates will continue to be slow, but I can promise that I'll never truly stop writing these. The stories play in my head endlessly until I write them down, so basically my own brain harasses me into writing.

Thanks, to any who have stuck around, for your patience. With time, I'll recover my health, energy, and my creative side. I found that my previous job drained me of energy to write, draw, or do anything creative, and since the start of COVID, I've been fighting health issues. With both of those currently being resolved, I find myself being excitable and creative again, so, unless circumstances arise and cause issues, I should be able to raise these books from the early grave which they had seemed to be declining into.

Thanks for your patience, and thanks for sticking with me,

So, both a blessing and a curse of getting back into reading: I now REALLY want to refine my writing. I've been reading Brandon Sanderson's books lately, and woo! He's an AMAZING writer, and has inspired me a ton! Hopefully this refinement will end the writer's block that has kept me in deadlock for a couple years now. Fair warning, my books are going to go under some major reform. I'm cutting chapters out of both Siren's Silence and Risk and editing a lot of material to make them both more realistic. Risk may even get a full rewrite. Hope you all are doing well! Stay healthy, stay safe!

Hello, all! I'm back! We'll see how long I get to continue working on these, but I'd like to finish Risk and Siren's Silence soon so that I can go back through and revise them beginning to end. My end goal is to actually publish both books sometime in the future, but I don't know how long that'll be. I think anyone that reads my work can agree, it needs some refinement, so we'll see how long that takes. Anyway, I took all of the games off my phone and am steadily working on removing pointless distractions from my life so that I can focus more on the important things like school, friends, my books, and the art business that I'm trying to get off the ground and have been steadily working on for the last few years. Anyway, happy new year, everyone! And you can look forward to more in the lives of Siren and Skota in the upcoming weeks!

Alright, fun fact, I begin to share the mood of my characters as I'm writing. It's been making these recent chapters incredibly hard to write since I have been in an absolutely glorious mood lately, while my characters... Not so much. However, I shall persevere!!! I completely give up on deadlines though, honestly. Why did I ever think that was a good idea? Dunno. Anyway, gonna harden up this squishy heart of mine and give you guys some awesome chapters!!!

          Thanks for your patience!

Hello! My apologies for the long wait on my books. Starting in May, I hope to publish a chapter per month, alternating primarily between Siren's Silence and Risk, with Black and White being my fun side project as always. I am currently in a writing class that has taken up a good portion of my spare time, but it has given me some fun short stories to send your way. Some are even previews of future books. I thank you for your patience and I hope to become a more reliable writer for you all soon! Thank you and take care! -VF

So hey guys. Still working. School took over sooner than expected. If you're interested, I did edit the prologue and Chapter 1 of Risk. I'll try to behave myself tomorrow and post the next chapter after I finish my homework. Enjoy your weekend!!

Hey all. I'm sorry that I haven't really gotten into a regular pattern yet. Engineering school is really rough and it kinda beats on my mind. I promise I haven't forgotten you guys! On December 21st, I'll be going in for a procedure to fix a very old injury, after that I'll be unable to be on my feet much for a couple weeks. So, hey! Book writing time! So I'll be getting at least one chapter of Siren's Silence and Risk out by January. Hopefully I can do more. Thanks for your support! Also, if you are one of those who likes to reread books, just a heads up, I tend to edit my writing often, so it may flow a little differently each time you read it. I did redo the prologue of Risk. Please tell me what you think. :) I would greatly appreciate any comments you all have. Have no fear, Skota and Siren will be returning to you guys soon! Thanks again for all of your support!
