Do you ever read a fictional book, and something bad happens and you have to remind yourself that the story is not real. I just had one of those huge moments

I don't like to remind myself that it's just a book or movie why would you ruin the moment?? Just live and cry  if you say it's fake you probably wouldn't just run the part that touched you but you'd ruin the whole story for yourself. Idk that's how I think
