The Fangirl Contract

I, a member of a fandom, vow to obsess over objects that other people would find strange to obsess over. I will fall in love with fictional guys or girls and fight other fangirls for them. I promise never to leave the fandom and continually re-read the books or re-watch the show to refresh my obsession. I devote my time to fancy edits, funny insider jokes, and making friends with other fangirls. I promise to stand by the creator of my obsession until the end. Finally, I promise to love my fellow fangirls because they are the only ones who understand me.
