@audacitysyndrome maybe she has internalised homophobia, or maybe her family might be homophobic. While you can still be happily religious and LGBTQ+, religious family members may be quite homophobic. Your friend say she has a crush on a guy, but also said she liked you as well. Does she know you’re lesbian/bisexual/likes girls? If not, she might be trying to see how you would react to queer people. If she does know you like girls, your friend might be trying to see your reaction to liking her, or, if she does have internalised homophobia, maybe her crush on the rando guy might be a way for her to not romantically like you (if your friend means that she liked you more romantically than the guy). Again, I have never met your friend and therefore cannot give proper advice. Hope this helps though :)
