At forty-five years old, feeling spent and undone, I separated from my second husband, sold my home, quit my job, and went on a three-week solo trip where I ate, prayed, and loved my way through Greece. When I came home, I started a blog and became a freelance content and copy writer.

Heartbreak, sexual empowerment, and self-love are complex, interwoven topics that have a profound impact on us all. No matter our age, these are areas of discussion that we can and should connect on across generations and without shame. And so that is what I'm doing here, delving into a new, sometimes frank, sometimes titillating style of writing and hoping that by sharing my story with complete transparency and a dash of erotic fun, I can not only entertain but provide a new perspective and perhaps even stir up some important discussions.

Because loving ourselves and others can be hard, and having great sex even harder (pun intended).
