I'm a strong feminist...and no that doesn't mean I don't shave, or that I go topless, hate men, burn bras...it means that I believe that I and every other woman should be able to live without fear, without boundaries, without feeling like anything less than a human. I am a feminist because I believe that a person's gender, sex and sexuality do not define their humanity. I am a feminist because when men have many casual sexual partners, they get a proud slap on the back and praise from their friends; but if even if those women didn't have sex, they get called 'sluts' and 'whores' and shamed for having sexual desires. 

Comments like this frustrate me so much:
“I’m not a feminist,” Lady Gaga declared in 2009. “I hail men, I love men.”

Please forbid that loving ourselves ever get in the way of loving men.

Stay away from the stigma that surrounds feminist....if you believe that all genders should be equal and you fight for that..you are a feminist.

I want to be able to live in a world where people can love themselves and have no limitations to opportunities. I think today we should all start with that mentality that WE CAN do something. Tolerating what happens is bullshit and we should start in our own lives and community today.

STAND UP..because you can.
