installed this app again because i accidentally stumbled across a conversation in an old discord server, talking about each other’s fanfic progress. i was planning on deleting discord prior to this, but something made me double click and reminisce on that weird period of life caused by the pandemic we all experienced back then. so the app’s still there on my laptop, though i’ll probably delete it in the near future. and this app’s back in my phone as a bonus to that.
a bit of a life update to whoever’s still here despite my long silence—though i doubt anyone’s still truly here: i’m employed now. graduated law school last year and immediately started working at a law firm. i passed the bar exam about 3 months ago. so yeah, i’m a lawyer now, though not sworn in yet; still waiting for the ceremony.
anyways, i realized that i still like writing, or at least i desire to write more things. as i began to read more books in my free time, the desire to pour my thoughts into a sort of artistic medium gradually became more apparent. maybe it’s a form of offloading to stop my head from exploding due to overload.
the point is, i might turn this back into one of those mediums. but i will no longer write fanfics. that period’s way behind me now. i might write actual stories—one chapter at a time, or any other forms of writing. depends on what i feel like writing that day, honestly.
