as far as maeve was concerned, this wasn’t the weirdest thing that has ever happened to her. sure, being pinned against a wall by a web was weird, but let’s just say that the people who hire her have some interesting requirements. an encounter with her boss that took place under some mistletoe a while back, too. THAT was weird.
            “you’re right, i did. but i didn’t cause it. i was just doing my job, which is protecting whoever pays me to. sometimes, it means i’ve got to get my hands a little dirty. do i feel bad about it? yeah, sometimes. but it’s part of my job and i’ve got to make a living somehow, right?”

            Noir looked at them for a moment, the only inclination of facial movement was a slight raising of the material showing his eyebrow raised and sighed. 
            He had pinned the other up against the wall with webbing. "Well, if I'm not mistaken you had something to do with that back there..."

          shaky huffs left the woman’s body as her glowing gaze flickered around the broken apart apartment  ,  thankful for the fact that sarah was safe in her arms  ,  and both peter and may were out  .  what she wasn’t thankful for was the bad guy slowly making their way around the apartment  ,  leaving rachel to clutch the fussing sarah close to her chest as she sat in a tucked in closet  .  where the hell was peter  ?
