I was just wanted to ask (while I’m thinking about it) what source you use for your Elden ring story? I’m asking you and your community of readers. It’s my autism, I get to choose the hyper fixation. Also happy Christmas .
Hello! So for my sources, I extrapolate information from the game itself (item descriptions, dialogue, environmental details, etc.), various lore videos (such as Smoughtown, Hawkshaw, Brothers Code, Zulia the Witch, etc.) and the unofficial timeline created and used by several lore Youtubers. Typically I use the lore videos as a rough guide, using them to help understand broader themes/information I might have missed, though I don’t take them as gospel (as seen with conflicting information and interpretations of loretubers I.e. Smoghtowns interpretation of Marika Vs. Fatbrett’s interpretation). Because of that conflicting information I typically go with what I can extrapolate from the game itself. Though I will say that for certain topics, such as Marika and Radagon’s role in the rise and decline of the Lands Between, I do often find myself agreeing with most of FatBrett’s interpretations and extrapolations, especially regarding the Shattering.
I also recommend watching Hawkshaw’s color theory, as color of objects, items and spells/incantations has a major role in the storytelling of the game.
Hey everyone, hope you are all doing well and have been enjoying the story! I just wanted to let you know that the next chapter is being written, and should be posted sometime this coming week - my wife and I were both sick this week, and I haven't had a chance/energy to write the next chapter.

Thank you for the update and don’t worry about posting regularly on this app. Plenty of people (myself included) will sometimes post one chapter a you hear nothing from them for months on end, so I wouldn’t worry about it. Also the reason I haven’t continued my story is because I’m in a transitional phase in my life.
For those who are following and have been asking for an update, I have good news: After a year and a half, a new update to the saga of Godwyn the Golden is well on its way. I plan on releasing this chapter this week, and it will be the longest/most lore dense chapter of the story to date.
I would just like to thank those who have read my work so far, and have actively engaged in this work. I know I have been gone for a long time, and I apologize for that: Between getting married, having health scares with relatives and trying to overcome writers block, I just have not had a real opportunity to write at an ability that is deserved for this work.
I would like to thank my wife as well for urging me to continue this, as she helped me to finally overcome my block, since I had no clue how to continue this after the first DLC came out. But she helped me to figure it out finally, as she has been reading through it and helped to storyboard this out. So I want to say thank you Meggie! And to please give her work a look. DRAGONRIDER98100 is her account, and I would urge you to see her current work, and the new one she is planning on writing soon.

Hey, glad you are enjoying! Life has been - interesting the past year and a half. Between getting married and some of my wife’s and my relatives having health issues, and some other general life chaos, I haven’t had a chance to really write. However, I have started the next chapter - I can’t promise when it’ll come out. But it is in the works - and it is the longest one yet (part of the reason why I haven’t posted it yet too, it’s massive)
