I want to tell South African stories. The ones we love, the ones we wish weren't true and the ones we hope to be true some day. The people in my books are me and you and I hope you find yourself and your experiences in one of these pages and learn that it's okay.

For Non- South Africans reading my work, I hope you feel fraction of what this beautiful country and the people in it have to offer. I hope you see a piece of your society but also learn of ours as you visit various communities in these pages. I may not tell it to the liking of the media but I tell the truth.
