My morning is ruined! Like seriously I just opened ao3 and a writer is writing cheating lan wangji fic and justifying it by saying "I know it's bad writing cheating fic with a couple who loves each other very much but I release my frustration with this, I feel bad writing this but i don't regret it" and the comments section "I love reading cheating lan wangji fic. Please upload more"
I feel like these people don't even get the essence of wangxian, they just use the names to fulfil the fantasy. To be honest, I'm not new to reading fics but when I first started reading there were not that many cheating fics but nowadays it has increased a lot, like it's a trend! Since when cheating is a trend!
People read ffs to relive stress, to stay away from hard reality and these kind of stories just ruins that!

@borrego431 exactly! And if someone wants to write that it's okay, but use your own character, why tarnish a beautiful couple. I read different kinds of wangxian fic literally but one thing that I hate the most is 'cheating' and a cheating fic with wangxian, I just can't tolerate it!
