Hi everyone,
I wanted to leave a quick note about the story "Crystalmancer". I won’t be continuing it.
Writing, for me, really depends on motivation, and I’ve noticed I tend to go through phases where my brain can only fully focus on one story or universe at a time. And as you’ve probably noticed… this story somehow turned into three universes in one — Haikyuu, MHA, and Lolirock.
At first, it was incredibly fun to explore. I loved building the connections, balancing the characters, creating original content, and trying to make all three worlds coexist naturally. But over time, it also became a lot harder to manage than I expected.
Whenever I try to plan the next chapter now, my brain kind of turns into soup. I start thinking about everything at once — timelines lining up correctly, power limits, character dynamics, lore consistency, original plotlines, crossover logic… and instead of feeling excited to write, I end up feeling overwhelmed before I can even start.
I think this story simply became too ambitious for me to handle in a way that still feels enjoyable.
Instead of trying to force myself to continue, I’ve decided to leave the story here and officially switch it to a non-commercial attribution approach.
Basically, if anyone ever wants to fully adapt, continue, rewrite, or reuse the ideas I created here to make their own version of the story, you absolutely can. All I ask is that proper credit is given, since a lot of original work and concepts went into building this crossover.
And honestly, if someone does decide to pick up the ideas someday, I’d genuinely love to be tagged so I can read along, cheer you on, and maybe even share the few idea drafts I had — of course with absolutely no obligation to follow through with any of them.
Thank you to everyone who read, commented, supported the story, or got attached to these characters along the way. Seeing people enjoy this chaotic crossover honestly meant a lot to me.
