Man I didn’t pay attention to the Xbox layoffs recently but looking more into it, it looks like 130 employees were laid off within Id Software…the people who make Doom, Wolfenstien, the new Indiana Jones games, etc… out of like 180 employees…and it’s rumored that most of the employees were software programmers who run the engine for Id Software’s games, which people are speculating that moving forward Id will be using the Unreal engine going forward…
