With the release of Netflix’s DMC season 2 around the corner, I’ve seen a LOT of hate for the first season and the bits released for season 2. I haven’t rewatched season one since it released and I don’t plan to, but to be honest, despite the franchise as a whole being on my top 5 favorite game franchises, I honestly don’t really care too much for the newer anime. I’ll probably just watch it, give a short-ish review, and never think about it again. I dunno, I think I’m already just used to having lows in the franchise and having all my hatred sucked out of me with 2 and DMC squared that I just don’t have any energy to either hate or defend Netflix’s version.
          
          Maybe I’m not crashing out hard enough or people are just too pissy babies these days.
