Just finished reading Ivypool's Heart, no big spoilers but it might honestly be the first warriors book I've enjoyed in quite a while. Haven't really been liking the newer series but I did like having an Ivypool centric story, and the whole grief message really got to me, it felt like a realistic exploration of those feelings.
I kinda find that Super Editions tend to be more consistent with characters in comparison to the main series, idk, maybe it's because the POV isn't constantly switching between chapters.
anyway, warriors ramble over :P

Oh also I really like that we get a tale of grief about the permanent type of death, as while it was kinda mentioned with cats like Spottedleaf, it's something that doesn't get explored a lot in warriors. Makes Ivypool's feelings a lot more heartbreaking and realistic imo.

@WarriorCats09 The current state of the series is too reminiscent of the second half of The New Prophecy and the near entirety of Power of Three, in my opinion. We have main characters with less depth and/or personality than PoT Lionblaze and even some supporting characters (Bristlefrost, Rootspring, and Sunbeam).

Starting university on Monday, kinda annoyed with myself that I didn't get more wattpad stuff done during my gap year, but when year 1 finishes I'll definitely try to do more on this account next summer. (I'll still be updating NTA though)
