Hello!
So quite recently I had a thought for a story. You know how plot armor is always referred to people or characters in show and games that survive impossible odds only to come out alive and well? Well, if you think about it, Death is the opposite of plot armor, now hear me out. What if Death was married to the embodiment of "Plot Armor" and in order for Death's partner to continue their duty, they must give up a piece of themselves in order to successfully save a character from perishing. But after so many years of doing their job and giving away their gift, they perish, having no power left for themselves to stay by Deaths side. Now, no one is forcing Plot Armor to do this, they just love saving people to the point that they give up their own existence to do so. Death is enraged however. The characters his beloved saved threw their lives around carelessly and often ended up back on his doorstep after having been saved. But what if Death couldn't continue without his beloved by his side? So, he hatches a plan to retrieve what Plot Armor gave away...no matter the costs.
What do you think about this? Too silly or no?
