Hello everyone my name is Lilia, 9/11 a day that is engraved in our brains forever. Even if some people didn't witness this gruesome terror they know how terrorizing it was. Not everyone was affected by this terrorist attack but I was deeply. You see my mother she had to go to New York to check out a job, I never knew what this job was all she ever said about it was, "Its a surprise, this job is the job I have been dreaming of, this is my future honey. When I get back I will tell you and we will celebrate." I remember exactly every word because it was one of the last things she ever said. She apparently was working in one of the restaurants, that day 19 people got onto planes , one plane was headed to L.A the others where off to a place im not sure of yet. But one came out from the sky speeding towards 1 of the towers I believe the north tower? But it hit above her station, she heard it all and she called me instantly, "Honey its mom, people are truing to hurt the twin towers one just hit the tower im in and smoke is everywhere! I may not be coming home and I want you not to worry about me, I love you with all my heart and I wish I could be with you but th-" the line went dead, she was dead, the towers were dead. My mother died because of terrorist who think that the twin towers, representing freedom was a threat and they hurt us. Today we look into the eyes of fear the eyes of damage and the eyes of hurt and we say "We are Strong! We will never forget 9/11"
In class we learned all about it. I may have been 8 then but im surly grown up and today I still rember. Please join me in a moment to rember.
