          If you haven't submitted yet, you still have just a little bit more time to get your llamazing story through the door and who knows become a favorite.

We've come with some exciting news.
          
          In just 12 days the Ambys 2026 will be open and our wooly friends will be on the lookout for submissions so start getting those stories ready.
          
          On that note, we want to share some tidbits with you:
          
          1.) Submissions will be open until 31st August this year. So, there's plenty of time to polish and submit your llamazing entries.
          
          2.) As always, we will be accepting all fandoms for fanfiction.
          
          3.) The number of followers you have or reads on your story will have no impact on your chances of winning an Amby Award - go for it!
          
          Pro Tip: Your story description is important. It's the first bit any reader will look for to see if your story sounds interesting. Take a look at this article for some more information: https://support.wattpad.com/hc/en-us/articles/201376264-Adding-a-story-description
          
          4.) We also have the Improve YourWriting profile that has some useful tips. Do check it out, especially their guides on better writing and literary devices.
          
          5.) Detailed guidelines will be posted on the 27th of July and the submission form will open on the 1st of August 2026.
          
          6.) Add the book to your library to ensure you don't miss any updates.
          
          Are you ready? Let us know in the comments if you plan on submitting a story and how far it is from being complete and ready. Please don't share any story links, those will be removed.

PSA: If you get a message on your message board from a profile claiming to be Wattpad Tech Support or Trust & Safety asking you to authenticate or verify your account, DELETE IT, IT IS A SCAM. Do NOT click any links. Just remove it and report if you can.
          
          Wattpad will never message you about your account any way except by email (and even then, make sure you verify the email address. Send in a ticket to support if you're not sure.) Please don't fall for it.
          
          Same with if you have Discord, there's a similar scam where someone would DM you saying they accidentally reported you. That is also a scam, block, and report.
