Hey guys. This week has been a tough one for me. My grandpa, whom I haven't seen in nearly five years, passed away. I couldn't attend his funeral because of distance, timing, and the need for someone to care for my dog and home, and I'm trying to process the fact that I couldn't say goodbye in life nor in death. This means that there will be a delay in the next chapter.
          
          I really wanted to dedicate these last two weeks of vacation to my book, but I needed this week and the next to grieve before school starts. Because I still don't know how my classes will be in terms of workload, I have no idea if I'll have time to finish Chapter 16 within the semester. For now, it's being reworked, and my mind's too foggy to come up with good content.
          
          I ask you to please bear with me. This is for my own sake.

Wattpad, why won't you let me personally thank my readers??? Sometimes it lets me, and sometimes it doesn't. Either way, everyone who votes, comments, adds my story to their list, or even just reads it, you are appreciated.

Hey guys! I'm at 3000 words for Chapter 16, which is great! But I have to inform y'all that I'm going back to school at the end of the month, so it'll most likely be the last one for a while. I will TRY to finish it as soon as possible to start working on Chapter 17, because that chapter is the turning point of the story. And I've been DYING to get to the real meat of the story.
          
          Please do wish me luck this upcoming school year. It's scheduled to be my last, and I really hope it is. If I graduate, then I'll have an entire gap year to write for y'all!

          If you're reading this, then that most likely means you've read Chapter 15 and you're wondering "Diane... W-Why?! Why so soon?! Why in the same chapter they have their first kiss in?!" To that I say "It's all part of the plan." Was it too soon? Of course. But will it have a great payoff? You betcha! Everyone knows shit gets complicated once feelings are involved, and even more so when [REDACTED] is involved.

Here's a little fun fact about my TSITP fic: Originally, Leda was supposed to have a step-cousin named Alex. He would've helped her navigate Cousins Beach, but the more I wrote, the more I figured Alex would've thwarted my story plans. So for the story's fourth draft (the current one) I deleted his character. His face claim was supposed to be Tanner Buchanan (Robbie from Cobra Kai).

Hey guys! I'm currently at 1500 words for the next chapter, so it's looking pretty good. Not sure when I'll be finished, but it should come out sooner than the previous chapters.  In truth, Chapters 13, 14, and 15 should've all been one chapter, but me being the overly detailed writer that I am, the word count for Chapters 13 and 14 got so high that I had to leave it at that. It's why I took forever with Chapter 13, because I kept trying to find shortcuts to condense it all and I couldn't. But this next chapter is the final chapter of Jere and Leda's date. And... it's gonna be a good one.

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't said anything in a while. Not only have I not had time to write, but I've gone through some life-changing events these past few months. I had a hard time with classes last semester, my pet ferret of seven and a half years died, was surprised with a new pet a month and a half after, and I started my spring classes. My mental health is at an all-time low, and I'm seriously thinking about how I want to move forward in my life. I do want to continue the story I started, but first I need to sort things out with my life.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in over a month. College just started back up again and... ugh the math... But more importantly, I'm trying to still write the outline. In truth, this one's a hard one to write because it's based on a real experience of mine, but I'm trying to give it a happy twist (you can imagine how the real one went...). So no, it's not discontinued, just on pause.
