I love the subject english and just want to write some short stories in my spare time for fun. 

Novels I enjoy reading a ones that involve magic. My favourite series being Skulduggery Pleasant (Heroes of Olympus being a close second). I enjoy magic and Greek/Roman/Norse/Egyption mythology. Though I am not closed-minded whenit comesto books, just a preference that I have.
