I think I finally got hit with writer's block 

chapter 1 is back, much better this time
          
          now it will make sense to y'all lol

re-reading my work made me realize...my first chapter is way too overt compared to the rest of my chapters. You get sledgehammered immediately without the kind of nuance you get later, the rest becomes calm but tense...
          
          I might need a rewrite/ unpublish chapter 1, first chapter just doesn't stick it with the rest
          
          the curse of being too perfectionistic is having to edit and edit until you get it lol

Three new chapters out after a month of delay, and those had several rewrites and touchups. I finally finished a five-chapter story arc, now I'm doing another arc. 
          
          Might take me a while again, but the new one is where shit gets interesting lol

So just a note
          
          Why am I taking too long to publish?
          
          - This more of a passion project, I don't rush too much so I don't get writer's block
          - Aforementioned above that this is a passion project, I made theme music for this because yes, there will be another one since I have 2 leitmotifs for this story
          - I had 2  job interviews with several rounds since my last post (Oct. 25)
          - I had to do some retcon because my original draft will leave a huge plot hole, so the drafts are under some reworking. They're almost done though.
          
          TL:DR;
          Adult life and some quality over quantityperfectionism got in the way.

I'm finally done with that damned theme song for my book finally, now my problem is I realized I need a wee bit of retconning because one thing will create a huge gaping plot hole
          
          Maybe this week I can finally get 3 chapters out, also expect slower uploads...I may get employed anytime this month (possibly).

How do you clean up and enhance a shit vocal recording that sounds like it's recorded with a 90s microphone  
          
          Everything was going great, then Korean sounded pretty bad...worse part is there's no other recording of what I need
          
          I took Finnish out, please don't add Korea to the music bin

Tuning 5 languages to a song made for Russians is  quite some work, but it actually worked pretty well.
          
          Pretty much the reason I'm not publishing yet is because I'm making making a multi lingual version of a Russian song...as a theme song in the book  
          
          After that more chapters come out again lol, sorry for those who are waiting

So about my January 16, 2024 post about writing?
          
          I'm finally writing a whole book!
          
          And I'm literally more than a year and half late on that  
          
          It's as dark as it gets because it's a dystopian AU that turns your usual CH characters on its head. As of now I'm on chapter 2, and still developing the arcs of at least three characters and how they connect to the protagonist. This book has been spawned to life out of my boredom while hunting for a job... and boredom usually leads me to creating passion projects/hobbies because I have way too much time to spare.
          
          I'll probably start publishing the book when I get to chapter 5.
