Woke up this morning with a spilitting headache and stuffy nose.
Guess who’s sick and won’t be able to get the chapter out because it physically hurts to move their damn head? :D

Yallz I had a thought
You know how in stranger things the upside down was basically empty before will came along and a copy of Hawkins was made?
What if it’s the same for the phantom dimension? The phantom dimension was empty before Ashlyn and the others were pulled in.
Or, thought I had writing this, what if it only expands as far as Ashlyn has gone? For instance in the motels, we know she saw all of that. Meanwhile with the drive trying to get to the next town over, as far as we know she had never been there before. So the road only expanded as far as she had gone before.
And with the facility too. She might not have seen it, but she was brought to the facility unconscious so her body was already there.
So what if the resets are based on where Ashlyn is at the moment or where the kids/parents are? And that’s why those pillars were there?
Idk probably not true but just a theory.
