A bit about Cynefin:
Cynefin is an original story about a fictional fantasy world I'm creating. The planet and world itself are very earthlike in appearance and humans do inhabit it, but we live alongside many other fantasy species, both humanoid and non-human. 

The time period, if canon to earth's history, would take place during the renaissance, and there are many references to earth's history because this world is an alternate-universe of our own, so a solid amount of human history overlaps with human history in this book. But there are other historical events in this book that have not occurred in real life, which contributes to its originality. 

The book itself is about a prince who, despite the laws his homophobic father set in place, manages to fall in love with his best friend. Upon the discovery their relationship by his father, the king, he and his best friend-turned-boyfriend are exiled from their kingdom, the only home they ever known. Never having explored outside of the kingdom's territory, the boys are faced with many challenges, but can they overcome them? Or will they be forced to make an attempt to return home, knowing they won't be welcomed back with open arms, and may not even make it past the gates alive?
