Lily held her toast in her mouth, hopping while trying to put a shoe and and trying to haul her open back-pack up on her back. Lily was a 16-year-old girl, about to start her first day 11th grade.
She was a pale, freckled girl with fiery red hair and emerald green eyes. At school, people would describe her as "fashionable" or "cool" but she thinks those terms are highly overrated. She wore a casual, knee-length skirt with leggings, a dark top with a skull on it, flat shoes and dark highlights in her hair. She was what some people would call "an athletic girl".
She loved sports and going out and always made the school badminton team. And every time she did, she would run around with a poster James designed about women empowerment, and equality for all oppressed minorities and religious segregation as well. Too long; didn't read: she was an activist. Which of course made her "unpopular".
