My last post was almost six years ago. Needless to say, I've been away from Wattpad a long time. During this period I was diagnosed with a deadly illness. I was given four years to live. Thankfully, via cutting edge medical techniques, I was cured and here I am many years after that date of supposed death.

As I slowly regained my health, over a period of two to three years, I emerged to being named a poet laureate. I served two years of service to the City of Anaheim, CA and developed poetry programs, organized library events, and created and published as its inaugural editor, an annual community anthology of poetry.

Now I'm working as a radio host for a program called "Poets Cafe" on KPFK 90.7 FM Los Angeles, speaking at science fiction conventions/conferences all over the USA, mentoring poets and writers as a writing coach, and publishing my poetry as I can.

I don't plan to post much here on Wattpad in the future. I've moved a bit beyond it, but to my former followers, if you care to find me you can subscribe to my newsletter "No Wasted Ink" at https://nowastedink.substack.com I also can be found on Instagram via my handle: @nowastedink

I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I've been on a bit of a holiday hiatus. Family has taken front seat to writing for the past month. With the new year will be new intentions...and new installments to my two collections and a possible third collection featuring my poetry on the horizon. Until then, may peace be onto you and your families.

I want to thank all of my followers here on Wattpad for your continued support. I am still relatively new here, but I like the platform and hope to turn it into a nice place to connect with readers and fellow writers. Happy Holidays to you all this month.

My memoir "Berlin Wall" is available to read in my memoir one-shot book "Old Mysteries, Far Travels, & Fresh Bagels" here on Wattpad. The story appeared first in the literary magazine "Shadows Express" and has reprinted on my blog and on Medium. The story is about my time as a unit production manager for a national radio news program and a problem that I needed to solve.
