I'm currently writing a children's book for my FACS Class ..... It's called "Daddy Gets Drafted!" We have to come up with a book and create it, will you give your feed back and opinions on it please, but no negative comments please. This is all I have for now, but there is more to come in this book.
Daddy and mommy are upset, when I got home from school. I asked them, "What's wrong?" Mommy started crying while saying, "Daddy's leaving." I went over to daddy and asked him, "Why you leaving me and mommy?" Daddy says, "I'm not leaving you guys forever. I got drafted into the army, but I will never be gone. I'll always be right in a special place called your heart." I cried, "Daddy don't go!" Daddy says, "Son I have to. I have to protect and serve for our country. I'll be back soon son, I promise."
