Tommy was amazingly born with a full beard but sadly he was also born without arms and only one leg. Although his family vowed to give him a normal life, nothing about his life would be normal until the day that he would meet his best friend, Weston.
As chance would have it Weston too was born with a full beard as well as four completely normal arms and an extra leg. His life too would end up being anything but normal.
Both Tommy and Weston were perfect material for the circus. They each joined the local circus in their respective towns and for years they entertained thousands of children. Tommy's act was pretty obvious: karate. There was not a foe that could go toe to toe with him. And Weston was destined to guess people's age and weight.
One fateful day their paths crossed when both circuses combined for a one day only Super Über Circus. As it turned out Tommy's opponent for the evening had become suddenly ill. A last minute decision by the event organizers forced Weston to be Tommy's new opponent.
As Weston stumbled out into the arena it was completely dark until a spot light burst through the darkness and lit up the one legged robed figure. When Tommy hopped around to face Weston their eyes met and time stopped. After what felt like eternity their fluffy man beards started to glow a warm golden light which lit up the entire arena. In graceful unison they both leaped into the air and as they met a bright flash blinded everyone watching. As the crowd regained their sight Weston and Tommy were standing in the middle of the arena and their glowing beards began to fade. A large gasp went out across the spectators as they realized that Tommy and Weston each had two arms and two legs. Tommy had somehow acquired Weston's extra arms and leg. It was this day that they became best friends.
The next day as they rode away on their flying unicorns Tommy asked, "What next, my friend?" Without hestitation Weston said, "We write."
